We found Incar Automotive on the Internet after our car died on a Sunday. Carl came out to our house within an hour of us making the call and quickly diagnosed the issue. He then provided us with three different options for us, and detailed specifically what each one would involve. He also provided us with an estimated cost at that stage. Once we had made our decision, Carl suggested that he could go out to my work and fix the car on the spot the following day. This was great for us because it meant that we didn’t have to worry about taking the car into the workshop. We were really impressed with Carl’s willingness to go the extra mile to help us out, and it was such a nice surprise to get a genuine car mechanic. We definitely will use Incar Automotive for all our car problems now, and have recommended Carl to all our friends and family.

I needed a new car battery supplied and installed so I called AA for a quote they quoted me a $210.00 joining fee and $169.00 charge for the battery with a total cost being $379.00 in total for a new battery, I felt is was a bit too much, so I googled around the net for another business that offer a mobile car battery replacement service and come across Incar Automotive mobile mechanics, I sent them a email for a quote and got an email back they offered me a new car battery with a 2 year warranty fitted within the hour at my home for only $129.00 inc gst for the battery and even took my old battery away free, I was very happy with the price and top quality service and honesty of the mechanic that come out as he saved me $$$$ it’s a great service and very affordable, especially in the hard times. Alternator belt broke and needed replacing. Incar came out, inspected the damage and replaced both the broken alternator belt and the AC/PWR Steering belt (which was severely worn). He also performed several other checks to ensure that the incident hadn’t damaged the engine further.

A while back I had a car that intermittently stopped at the most inconvenient places, and despite having taken it two mechanics to fix the problem, they were unable to, due to not finding the problem in the first place. The third did, thanks to impressive equipment in an established big name mechanical service garage that operates throughout NZ. And of course, I had to get the car to them first. It turned out to be the coil.
